Mario and Isaac made our fishing trip EPIC!! They put us on Pacific sailfish and blue marlin. I reeled in my first ever big fish, an 80 lb sailfish. My husband reeled in 2 more sailfish. The most exhilarating catch was a 300 lb blue marlin. Isaac helped bring it in by hand and Mario captained the boat to help bring it in. WOW! The best fishing trip EVER! Pura Vida. I cannot recommend Coyote Sportfishing with Mario and Isaac enough!

Wow! The entire team at Coyote was truly amazing. From booking through fishing, it was wonderful. It's really hard to describe the amount of work they put in and the captain is a master. Got a 360lb marlin! Truly a world class experience. Also the fastest boat in the fleet. We started a little behind but passed every boat and went farther out. Hands down the best fishing experience I've ever had in Tamarindo. Coyote Sport Fishing exceeded every expectation! From the moment we stepped on the boat, the crew made us feel welcome, safe, and excited for the adventure ahead. Great local team made our young family (boys 5, 6, 9) very comfortable fishing for the big ones and we finished the day with a 400 pound Marlin and a 40 minute fight. Mario and Isaac were fantastic and the onshore communication team was great. Highly recommend if in Tamarindo.

What an unforgettable fishing experience I had with Coyote Sportfishing in Tamarindo! From the moment we stepped onboard, the crew made us feel right at home. The boat was spotless, comfortable, and fully equipped. We had amazing luck out at sea, landing some beautiful fish including 6 mahi-mahi and a big sailfish! Captain Frank knew exactly where to go, and the mates were quick to help with everything, from setting lines to taking awesome photos. Between the fishing, the ocean views, and spotting dolphins along the way, it was truly an unforgettable adventure.

The best crew in Guanacaste. We caught 12 yellowfin tuna on the big boat the first day and one was pushing 100 pounds on the spin and popper! Second day with Mario, I told him we want some Sail for my friend and Striped Marlin for myself because I never caught one. It took 1 hour for Mario to get both fish!

What a stellar experience deep sea fishing with Coyote! Sam, the sales manager, expertly recommended the half day fishing trip in Tamarindo and it delivered big time. With seasoned fisherman Captain Frank at the helm, we boldly ventured 18km to a beautiful pod of dolphins. They were elegantly gliding alongside the boat, occasionally jumping out and twirling in the air. We caught several massive monsters of both tuna and mahi mahi throughout the day. By the time we arrived back to shore, we had several bags of fresh fish to take home. I would totally recommend this trip!

We were very grateful to spend the afternoon aboard the Coyote Tres. There was plenty of room for the 6 of us to lounge around and relax. There was plenty of beer, pop and water to keep everyone happy. Frank said the inshore wasn't good so we went offshore. We had non-stop bonito strikes, probably 30 or more. The kids had fun reeling in lots of fish. Jeremy worked hard to keep lines in the water and helped out everyone. Communication before the trip was terrific. Maria was in touch via text to ensure we met up and found the correct meeting spot. I'd definitely recommend.

Recently did some fishing with Coyote Sportfishing and had the best time. Captain Frank and his crew took us out on the water and we saw Whales, Dolphins, Sailfish and our grandson hooked a marlin which was so awesome. We also had the best beef tacos and all the fruit, munchies, and drinks we could eat. Awesome all day fishing trip. Caught 4 sailfish. Frank is an excellent captain, Jeremy and Kendall worked really hard finding the correct colors for lures. Lunch was excellent. Would highly suggest using Coyote if you're in town.

Fantastic trip with Maria, Isaac and Mario. They took care of everything on the boat as well as transportation. Fished as a family of five with three kids 10 and younger, and caught two sailfish. Great experience!

Amazing crew, amazing captain and overall a great experience. Only caught 1 mahi mahi but the weather wasn't on our side. The crew switched out bait repeatedly to try and help and were very accommodating. We would definitely use this company again.

Had a fantastic time with Captain Frank and crew onboard the Coyote Tres. Caught over 20 yellowfin including a 75 pounder and the highlight of the trip, a 500lb black marlin. Frank knows what he's doing and works where the fish are. Highly recommend and will absolutely fish with again.

Day one we had an absolute epic day of fishing landing 3 Sail Fish, 6 Mahi Mahi and 4 Yellow Fin Tunas. And on the last day, Jose got me on my bucket list Rooster Fish and was the best guide you could ask for! I can't say enough about their knowledge and hospitality.

Fished 4 days with Captain Jose and deckhands Milton and Caesar. Fantastic guys to fish with. Very friendly and accommodating. We caught Mahi, sailfish, roosterfish, tuna and jacks both trolling and on poppers. Even managed a huge Pompano on top water. This was my 2nd trip to Costa Rica fishing with Frank's crew and they didn't disappoint. I've fished in many different locations around the world and a big part of it isn't just the catching, it's the entire experience. Frank runs a great outfit and is a genuine pleasure to be around.

5 of us went fishing with Capt Frank and First Mate Mario and we had a blast! During our half day charter we caught 12 mahi mahi and 2 sail fish. The boat was comfortable with seating and a dry cabin for bags. Capt Frank and Mario were professional and efficient, no time was wasted while Mario worked nonstop. After we took a photo with the fish, Mario filleted it and had it in bags for us to enjoy for dinner. We easily fed our crew of 12 back at the house. Mario's passion for fishing was evident with his huge smile every time we hooked on.

Went fishing with the World Famous El Capitan Frank and mate Mario today. We had a most excellent day of fishing, and all six of us caught fish! Even my 84-year-old father caught a mahi-mahi. They were easy to communicate with, were on time, and had delicious lunch prepared with plenty of ice cold beverages. They cleaned our fish as we caught them and sent us home with a TON of packaged fresh fish. I can't recommend these guys enough.

Booked with Coyote for the 2nd time over my wedding party. We had an absolute blast and Capt. Frank put us on the fish even when fishing was considered "slow" to others around town. Casting poppers for yellowfin at sunset was the cherry on top!

We had a great time with Coyote fishing. Our family of five was on the Flamingo II, a 31 foot boat. Mario was driving the boat and Victor was on deck with us, teaching us what to do. We caught four yellowfin tuna that we brought home. We ate all our fish by searing the tuna and also sashimi style, and it was a great meal. Thank you Coyote Sportfishing!

What a great day with Frank and Mario! Clean, well equipped boat. Good shade when you need it and a bathroom! We did a half day and caught 7 Mahi Mahi and 1 Wahoo. We got lucky and saw 20 to 30 dolphins as a bonus! Fabulous day and would highly recommend!

We had a full day with Captain Frank, Mario and Milton on the Coyote Tres boat. Cannot express enough how amazing the trip and crew was! We had a blast catching over 20 fish, and the crew really made it just an awesome time. Highly recommend Frank and team!

Capt'n Nacho took my 14 year old son and I on a memorable ride! We reeled in two 70 pound Sailfish and one beautiful 140 pound Blue Marlin! Plus we saw literally 1000 dolphins, a massive stingray, two sea turtles and flying fish! Lots of fun and highly recommend.
